Based on our expertise in producing and developing of IEC-BCC based peer educator’s manual, DSW was specially selected by the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MoH) to sit at the steering committee to propose contents for the National Peer-Education Manual. After a series of meetings, a workshop was hosted by the MoH on January 2nd, 2015 that drew the attendance of more than fifty participants representing various non-governmental organizations and other key government stakeholders. This workshop aimed at developing the key contents necessary for the development of a National Peer-Education Manual on sexual and reproductive health issue (SRH). DSW along with other SRHR focused organizations contributed inputs during a three-day workshop hosted by MoH in Deberzeit. This manual is designed to become a peer-educator tool at the national level intent on bringing in desirable behavior change among university students both in urban centers and among those of the pastoralist community.
